The story
The Elowen began as a study in how light should end a day: not overhead, not blue, but low and warm, the way a fire sits in a room. Its double-walled dome is printed over fourteen hours — the outer shell diffuses, the inner shell hides the bulb entirely, so what you see is never a light source, only light.
